Experience
I have previous experience teaching K-5th grade science in after school programs. I also was a teacher's assistant for biology and for band. I really enjoy teaching and helping kids learn. I have a love of knowledge and for learning new things! During college I took a lot of science courses including biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, microbiology, physics, anatomy, physiology, genetics, nutrition, and more. I am currently working in the genetics field at the University of Minnesota Equine Genetics Lab. I was a flutist in high school and also played the piccolo. I participated in many solo/ensemble contests, was in concert band, symphonic band, pit band, pep band, and marching band.
